The number of attacks on US military bases in the Middle East has increased to 165 since October 17, 2023, Deputy Press Secretary of the US Defense Department Sabrina Singh said at a regular briefing, Report informs.
“From October 17th to January 29th, we are tracking approximately 165 attacks, that's 66 in Iraq, 98 in Syria and of course the one yesterday in Jordan,” Singh said.
“Approximately 80 US personnel have received non-serious injuries since the attacks began.”
These figures do not include the latest attack on a base in Jordan. As she reported at a briefing earlier, at least 40 people were injured during the attack on the US base in Jordan, and 3 were killed.
