A top-level conversation between the US and China took place in a bid to ease tensions between the two superpowers, Report informs, citing foreign media.
Michael Chase, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for China, and Chinese Major General Huang Xueping, Deputy Director for the People's Liberation Army Office for International Military Cooperation, spoke to discuss how to manage tensions between the two countries.
The consultations were held for two days - on September 28 and 29 - through a reliable video communication channel. During the talks, sincere, deep, and open discussions covered a range of issues related to military relations between the two countries.
