Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III will depart on August 8 to participate in the change of command ceremony for US Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Michael E. Langley and US Army Gen. Stephen J. Townsend at Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany, Report informs, citing the US Department of Defense.
The Secretary will then travel to Latvia to meet with senior government officials to affirm the US commitment and persistent presence in Latvia and the broader Baltic region.
