Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has called on the United States to support the Afghan people, Report informs.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan made the appeal in an interview with Al Jazeera.
“The Afghan people are facing severe food shortages and hunger. If the international community does not provide timely assistance, the country will face a serious humanitarian crisis. Afghanistan should not become a ‘paradise’ for international terrorists again,” he said.
Khan noted that the current situation in Afghanistan is also a problem for Pakistan, as it is the neighboring countries that have suffered the most from the chaos in the region.
