Pakistan opens checkpoint on border with Afghanistan

The Torkham checkpoint on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border has resumed operations.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that the checkpoint was opened for cars and people.
Since the checkpoint opened, 720 trucks have crossed from Pakistan to Afghanistan.
Torkham, a key checkpoint in Pakistan and Afghanistan, has been closed since the Taliban seized control of the area.
