Pakistani Muslim League leader Shahbaz Sharif has been elected the 23rd prime minister of Pakistan.
Report informs citing TASS that the voting took place in the National Assembly (lower house of parliament) of the country and was broadcast by local TV channels.
Sharif received 174 votes.
Earlier, the National Assembly (lower house of parliament) of Pakistan voted for a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan.
