PACE adopts resolution on coronavirus vaccination

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has adopted a resolution entitled 'Vaccination against COVID-19: ethical, legal and practical considerations.'
According to Report's French Bureau, the document underlines the crucial role of vaccination in eliminating the pandemic. The resolution also emphasizes the importance of its acceptance by the population for its effectiveness. Thus, the PACE calls on member states to take appropriate measures to inoculate people and ensure their immunization.
The document also stresses the importance of fair use of vaccines among the population.
Moreover, it addresses the issue of equal distribution of vaccines between wealthy and poor countries.
