Over 920 people detained in UK since start of riots

More than 920 people have been arrested in the UK since the riots that erupted in late July after an attack on children in Southport, Report informs.
So far, 927 people have been arrested and 466 charged in relation to the recent disorder, a spokesperson for the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) said on August 12.
