Over 60 Palestinians killed in Gaza in 24 hours, health ministry says

The Gaza Health Ministry has reported that more than 60 Palestinians have been killed in the past 24 hours due to actions by Israeli military forces.

According to Report, which cites the ministry, an additional 241 people were injured during the same period.

Since the beginning of Israel's military operation in Gaza, a total of 39,324 people have lost their lives, and 90,830 have been wounded. The current crisis escalated on October 7, 2023, when armed supporters of the Palestinian militant group Hamas infiltrated Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip, killing residents of border towns and taking more than 240 hostages.
