Over 500 tons of TNT stored in ammunition depot blasted in Kazakhstan

The ammunition depot in Kazakhstan, where at least six explosions took place, had more than 500 tons of TNT, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Emergency Situations Talgat Uali, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

According to information, 66 injured people were hospitalized.

Investigation into the fact is underway. Residents of nearby villages have been evacuated.

The fire has not been extinguished yet.
