Since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in Almaty, law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan have detained 2,748 people for participation in illegal rallies, looting, and other related crimes, Report informs via TASS.
On January 17, this number was 2,601.
"In total, since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation, 2,748 participants in illegal rallies, looting and other crimes have been detained. A total of 131 firearms and 4,179 pieces of ammunition have been seized," the press service of the city commandant's office said.
