Over 2.5M refugees arrive from Ukraine to Poland

The number of Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in Poland since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine has exceeded 2.5 million people, Report informs referring to the Polish Border Service.
According to the estimates of the Polish Interior, at least 1.5 million refugees who came from Ukraine remained in the republic. Since March 16, the Polish authorities have started registering refugees who have decided to stay in Poland, issuing them individual PESEL identification numbers.
