Over 2,500 foreign journalists to cover Trump-Kim Jong-un summit in Hanoi

Baku. 22 February. REPORT.AZ/ Nearly 2,600 foreign journalists have now accredited to cover the upcoming US-North Korea summit in Hanoi, Report informs citing Xinhua News Agency.

"The Vietnamese authorities will do everything necessary for the successful work of journalists at the summit," Le Hoai Chung, Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam, said.

He recalled that the Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc instructed the country's ministries and departments to take all measures to ensure the security of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong Un and generally successful summit.

Their meeting will be held in Hanoi on February 27-28.
