Over 1,700 people died in Portugal and Spain due to heatwave, Regional Director for Europe of the World Health Organization Hans Kluge said, Report informs.
According to information, European countries have recently recorded scorching temperatures.
Robert Stefanski, a representative of the World Meteorological Organization, said that the heatwave in Europe will continue until the middle of next week.
