Official: 6th package of EU sanctions against Russia will include oil bans

The sixth package of EU sanctions against Moscow includes provisions restricting oil imports from Russia, said Andriy Yermak, head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Report informs via RBC Ukraine.
He referred to an article published in the German newspaper Zeit.
"The European Union is considering mechanisms to include oil in the next package of sanctions, as well as plans to impose restrictions on the banking sector, in particular Sberbank and Russia's energy sector," Andriy Yermak said.
The European Union intends to limit oil purchases from Russia gradually.
