Number of fuel truck explosion victims exceeds 30 in Afghanistan

The death toll from a fuel truck explosion at the Salang Pass in Afghanistan's Parwan province has risen to 31, the spokesperson for the Taliban Health Ministry Sherafat Zaman said, Report informs.

According to Zaman, 37 victims were taken to hospitals in Charikar. There are still people under the rubble, and search and rescue operations continue.

Earlier, a spokesman for the Taliban Ministry of Public Works, Hamidullah Misba, reported 19 dead and 37 injured.
