Norwegian PM: 'We will help Ukraine with gas supplies before heating season'

Norway will assist Ukraine with gas supplies before the upcoming winter season, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said at a press conference following talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv, Report informs.
The matter is additional funds - almost 84 million euros.
"In winter, Ukraine may face a shortage of energy resources. Therefore, together with our European partners, we are financing gas supplies and stockpiling," the prime minister noted.
In turn, Zelenskyy said that the Russian Armed Forces are carrying out air attacks on gas infrastructure, trying to "disrupt the preparation" of Ukraine for the heating season.
