Norway to allocate over $360M to support Ukraine

The Norwegian government will allocate $273 million to support schools and the healthcare system, as well as $90.1 million to strengthen the defense industry’s capacity to produce more ammunition and missiles, Report informs referring to Russian media citing a press release from the government office after a meeting in Oslo between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store.

“We are in close dialogue with Ukraine about what the country needs most, and together with our allies we will do everything possible to provide the necessary assistance,” the Norwegian prime minister noted.

In February, the Norwegian parliament reached a broad political agreement on a five-year $6.82 billion support program for Ukraine.
