New Zealand has added 75 citizens of Russia, including the former president and former CEO of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov, to the list of sanctioned persons, Report informs.
New Zealand has expanded sanctions against Russia. 75 Russian citizens and two companies were added to the sanctions list. 24 of them are civil servants. Russian officials have been sanctioned due to the annexation of Ukrainian regions.
Along with Alekperov, the list includes the Chair of the Management Board of Gazprombank Andrey Akimov, Chairman of Vnesheconombank Sergei Gorkov, Director General of Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novatek Leonid Mikhelson, President of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin, and others.
