Netherlands to contribute €15 million to new climate fund

The Netherlands intends to contribute 15 million euros to a new fund to compensate developing countries for losses and damage from climate change, acting Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte said, Report informs via TASS.
"We will add 15 million euros, which will be used specifically to compensate for losses and damages," he said, adding that this is in addition to the 1.8 billion euros that the Netherlands spends annually on climate projects in developing countries.
