Ned Price: US ambassador deliberately left meeting hall during speech of Iran's FM 

The US ambassador and other representatives deliberately left the meeting hall during the speech of Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, at the 52nd Session of the UN Human Rights Council, Ned Price, spokesman for the United States Department of State, told the press conference, Report informs, citing the VOA Persian News Network.

According to him, while the Iranian minister was speaking, one person from the US delegation stayed in the hall to record his voice.

The spokesman said it is a pity that the minister speaks when human rights are violated in Iran: "The statements of the Iranian regime about respect for human rights are hypocrisy. This regime violently suppresses peaceful protests in the country and ignores the request of the international community to stop the oppression."

Ned Price also noted that the Iranian authorities have violated the UN Charter.
