Nearly 40 people killed as bus explodes in Zimbabwe

Baku. 16 November. REPORT.AZ / At least 40 people were killed in a bus explosion and fire in Zimbabwe, Report informs citing Associated Press.

The incident occurred in the morning in the south of the country. More 20 people were injured as a result of the fire, some of them were hospitalized with severe burns.

It is suspected that one of the passengers was transporting fuel, which exploded causing ignition.

The police have already confirmed the incident and will soon make a statement.
