Ukraine may receive additional assistance from NATO in 2025, the head of NATO's representation in Ukraine, Patrick Turner, said at the round table "Ukraine-NATO 2024: From Strengthening Partnership to Finding Security Paths," Report informs referring to Ukrainian media.
He noted that this issue will be discussed at the meeting of Alliance defense ministers in The Hague in February next year.
"Many Alliance member countries have promised additional assistance. This applies to our allies in Europe and the US," Turner said.
He added that NATO promised to provide assistance of over 40 billion euros during the current year. Almost 21 billion euros in aid was provided in the first half, he noted.
"We are doing everything to ensure that all our promised contributions are fulfilled by the end of the year," he said.
