NATO launches exercises near Ukrainian-Moldovan border

Five NATO member states are taking part in an international exercise in the town of Smârdan in Romania's Galati county, Report informs, citing local radio.
More than a thousand Romanian servicemen were involved in the exercises, along with US, Belgian, Bulgarian, Italian, French and Portuguese servicemen.
Smârdan is located 25 km from the Ukrainian border and 10 km from the Moldovan border.
