NASA, Space Agency of Ukraine ink cooperation agreement

NASA and the Space Agency of Ukraine signed an agreement on further cooperation in Washington, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova said on Facebook, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine that.

"Another positive result in such an inspiring field - space. Today in Washington, at NASA headquarters, the signing ceremony of the Joint Statement between NASA and the State Space Agency of Ukraine was held," Markarova said.

According to the diplomat, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and Deputy Chairman of the State Civil Aviation Committee of Ukraine Volodymyr Mikheev, together with Deputy Minister of Economy Ihor Fomenko, took another step towards new opportunities for the country's rocket and space industry and expanding cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the fields of peaceful space, communications and navigation, and also projects of the International Space Station and other areas.
