A shopping center in the German city of Zella-Mehlis, located in the federal state of Thuringia, was evacuated on Tuesday after the discovery of an "unknown substance."
According to Report, which cites the DPA news agency, law enforcement officers said between 200 and 300 people were forced to leave the building.
The unidentified substance was found in a restroom and is believed to have caused respiratory irritation in a 25-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man.
After being closed for several hours, the shopping center reopened to customers after 8:00 PM on the same day.
