Monkeypox epidemic declared in Congo

The Republic of Congo has announced an epidemic of monkeypox on its territory, country's Minister of Health Gilbert Mokoki said in a statement, Report informs via France Presse.
"The Republic of Congo has declared a monkeypox epidemic, with 19 cases confirmed in five departments, including the capital Brazzaville," the agency writes.
According to reports, the country has reported no deaths from this disease as of yet.
