Moldova to receive 40M euros from EC to strengthen state resilience

Moldova will receive gratuitous assistance from the European Commission to strengthen the state and society, Report informs referring to the Moldovan media.

The Moldovan Parliament has already ratified the funding agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the EC regarding the EU for Sustainability and Governance program, signed on May 11, 2023.

The document envisages provision of gratuitous assistance in the amount of 40 million euros from the European Commission to strengthen the stability of the state and society, socio-economic recovery with a special focus on good governance, stability and peace.

The agreement is part of the EU Annual Action Plan for Moldova for 2022, the implementation period of which is 2023-2026.
