Moldova to introduce electronic queue at border for road carriers

An electronic queue for road carriers at the border of Moldova will be launched in the new year, Report informs referring to TASS.
"The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the regulations on the operation of the information system for organizing electronic queues at the border. Preliminary programming at state border crossing points will be available from the beginning of 2024," the government press service said in a statement.
It notes that carriers will be able to schedule the exact time of crossing the border by registering in a virtual queue before the vehicle begins moving to the checkpoint.
