Moldova to close airspace in June

The Moldovan authorities will close airspace on June 1-2. This is related to the holding of the European Political Community Summit in the country, according to the General Inspectorate of Moldova Police, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.

“Moldova will close the airspace from June 1, 00:00 local time - until June 2, 07:00 local time,” the message says.

The ban will not apply to business aircraft.

From May 15 to May 25, the car park near Chisinau International Airport will operate in a special mode. Car parking on the lower floors will be prohibited.

These measures are aimed at maintaining an appropriate level of security throughout the territory of Moldova, taking into account the daily life of people living in the capital, its neighboring areas, as well as citizens of the whole country.
