Military to hold elections in Myanmar

The military, which staged a coup in Myanmar, has announced that new elections will take place, Report mentions, referring to RIA Novosti.
It will be held next year, after the lifting of the state of emergency. After that, the power will be transferred to the new government.
On January 31, the military staged a coup in Myanmar. President Win Myint and Prime Minister and State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi have been detained.
