Mexico ready to grant asylum to Pedro Castillo, says FM  

Mexico's Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Wednesday that his country is ready to grant asylum to the hitherto president of Peru, Pedro Castillo, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.

"If Pedro Castillo asks for asylum in Mexico, we will give it to him, but he has not requested it," Ebrard explained in an interview for the program Atando Cabos of the radio station Radio Fórmula.
