One of several crew members of a US F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran has been rescued, Report informs, citing CBS News.
The aircraft was downed in southern Iran while carrying out a combat mission.
Search and recovery operations for the wreckage and crew lasted several hours.
So far, one crew member has been found alive. The exact number of personnel on board has not been disclosed.
