The incident occurred at Marina Beach, where a staggering1.2 million spectators gathered to witness spectacular aerial demonstrations along the two-kilometer stretch of coastline.

As the event concluded, chaos erupted at the exits, resulting in a deadly stampede that claimed the lives of two to three individuals and left 40 others hospitalized with injuries.
The sweltering 36-degree heat also took its toll on the crowd, with 150 attendees requiring urgent medical attention due to severe dehydration. Tragically, some of those affected succumbed to the extreme conditions.
