Mahmoud Abbas: Palestine confirmed its desire to join BRICS

During his speech at the BRICS summit, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed hope for the state's soonest accession to the organization, Report informs via Russian media.

"We express gratitude to the BRICS leaders for their position on the Palestinian issue and confirm Palestine's desire to join the organization," he said, noting that the country is ready to participate in all BRICS activities.
