An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 has occurred in Peru, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, Report informs referring to TASS.
The epicenter of the tremors was located 54 km north-west of the city of El Pedregal with a population of about 20,000 people. The source lay at a depth of 94 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
