Lithuanian president leaves for Kyiv

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda arrived in Kyiv on Ukraine's Statehood Day, Report informs via Ukrinform.
"I have just arrived in Kyiv. On this significant day, when Ukraine celebrates its Statehood Day for the first time, I will address the people of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada," Nausėda said.
Gitanas Nausėda also said he would meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and present him with Lithuania's highest state award - the Order of Vytautas the Great.
The Statehood Day of Ukraine was established by the decree of Volodymyr Zelenskyy dated August 24, 2021.
