Lithuanian border guards will strengthen border security and deploy additional forces as Russia and Belarus prepare for the joint military exercises “Zapad,” scheduled for September.
Report informs via Lithuanian media that with the approach of the “Zapad” exercises, the Lithuanian border service plans to enhance border security, deploy additional personnel at external borders, and implement certain measures in cooperation with other agencies, the Lithuanian military, and the police.
