Lithuania's Ministry of Defense is set to receive an additional €7 million for military infrastructure projects in 2024, Report informs, citing the ministry.
“A draft decision on allocating extra funds to the Defense Ministry has been registered for the government's upcoming Wednesday meeting. These funds are earmarked specifically for implementing military mobility projects and infrastructure improvements to accommodate NATO allies arriving in Lithuania,” the ministry said.
The funds represent interest accrued on deposits held by the Defense Ministry and the Defense Resources Agency in commercial banks.
