Kyrgyzstan President: 'Ilham Aliyev's visit to Bishkek is logical continuation of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani strategic partnership'

President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Bishkek is a logical continuation of the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov said at the meeting of the First Interstate Council between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, Report informs.

The Kyrgyz President noted that critical cooperation issues were discussed at the meeting, and main directions and priorities were determined.

Speaking about trade and investment cooperation, President Sadyr Japarov said:

"Today, we reviewed the important role of the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijan Development Fund. This Fund should become a speed catalyst and action mechanism in the attraction of Azerbaijani investments to Kyrgyzstan and the implementation of mutually beneficial business projects."
