Kremlin: NATO was created to keep confrontation

The goal of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is to suppress Russia, which is a very serious threat to national security, Russian Presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs.

Peskov noted that NATO’s military infrastructure is moving towards Russia’s borders: “The North Atlantic Alliance has once again confirmed its essence. This is an alliance created with the aim of keeping confrontation ongoing.”

He said that NATO is de facto fully involved in the Ukraine war.
