Kazakh president instructs new defense minister to strengthen combat readiness

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received his newly appointed Minister of Defense Dauren Kosanov, Report informs referring to the presidential press service.
"During the meeting, the head of state gave a number of specific instructions concerning strengthening the combat readiness of the army, introducing digital solutions into the control system, expanding the capabilities of the Special Operations Forces, increasing the effectiveness of social and ideological work, as well as modernizing the military infrastructure," reads the message.
