The policy of colonialism serves the interests of many superpowers of the West who try to dominate other countries and peoples, Kanak representative Davy Nicolas Bolo said at the international conference “Neo-colonialism: violation of human rights and injustice”, organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), Report informs.
"The policy of colonialism is useful for many major Western powers that aspire to dominance. Dominance means complete control over the economy and military potential," he said.
According to him, the Kanaks, first of all, try to resist colonialism: "We want to be free and independent. Only in this way can we live comfortably."
