The European Union currently does not see the light at the end of the Ukrainian tunnel, Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, said in his speech at the Investors Forum for EU-Central Asia Transport Connectivity, Report informs via TASS.
According to him, the sanctions of the European Union could not destroy the military-industrial complex of Russia.
Borrell stressed that although the EU has imposed extensive sanctions against Russia, it has significantly weakened Moscow's military machine, but it still exists: "The war continues, and the fighting is getting more intense. We do not see the light at the end of the Ukrainian tunnel."
