Japan MFA: Our diplomat left Russia but hasn’t arrived yet

Japanese diplomat Motoki Tatsunori, who was expelled from the Russian city of Vladivostok, left the country on September 28, but has not yet returned to his homeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yosimasa Hayashi said, Report informs, referring to the foreign press.
"The diplomat left Russia on September 28 but has not yet arrived in Japan. Due to the nature of the situation, I will refrain from revealing the details," said the minister.
Earlier, Motoki Tatsunori, the consul of the General Consulate of Japan in Vladivostok, who was detained by the Russian Federal Security Service for collecting classified information, flew to Moscow from Vladivostok.
