Japan confirms 14 deaths from sunken cruise ship

At least 14 people aboard the cruise ship KAZU 1, which sank off the coast of Hokkaido in northern Japan over the weekend, have died, NHK TV said on Friday, Report says, citing TASS.
Eleven confirmed victims were reported earlier.
In addition, the Japanese Coast Guard found the KAZU 1 on the seabed on Friday at a depth of about 100 m.
According to the Kyodo news agency, the Japanese coast guard received a message from the Russian side, which noticed a man in a life jacket off the western coast of Kunashir Island. He could not be saved due to bad weather conditions.
