Italy to expel 30 Russian diplomats

Russian Ambassador to Italy Sergey Razov has been summoned to the Foreign Ministry of the Republic on Tuesday, where he was informed about the expulsion of 30 Russian diplomats, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said on the air of Rai News 24, Report informs, citing TASS.

"This measure, taken in agreement with other European and Atlantic partners, has become necessary for the reasons associated with our national security in the context of the current crisis situation."

The Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told TASS that a tit-for-tat measure from Russia will follow.
