Israeli security forces arrest 17 terrorism suspects

Israeli security forces detained 17 Palestinians suspected of participating in terrorist activities in the West Bank, the press service of the Israeli Defense Forces said, Report informs via TASS.

“The Israel Defense Forces, the Security Agency and the Border Police carried out operation to arrest 17 suspects in Judea and Samaria tonight,” reads the statement.

As reported, among other things, raids were conducted in the cities of Hebron, Nablus, and Qalqilya, as well as in several villages and towns in the West Bank, and in some areas, shootings were heard, and clashes broke out. Unknown persons fired at the post of the Israeli army near the city of Jenin at night. The press service added that there were no injuries among the soldiers.
