Israel has warned of retaliatory actions following a rocket attack launched from Lebanese territory, Report informs via Al Arabiya.
Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, stated that the Lebanese government is responsible for any missile fire from its land targeting Israel.
According to the Israeli military, three rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel on March 22, specifically towards the border town of Metula. All missiles were intercepted by Israel's missile defense systems.
Katz has ordered the military to take "appropriate measures" in response to the attack.
This rocket fire is the first since the ceasefire agreement brokered by the US and France on November 27, 2024, which called for the deployment of the Lebanese army along the southern border and the withdrawal of Hezbollah militants behind the Litani River, supported by UN peacekeepers.
