Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Kornichuk has been summoned by the Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry for a meeting on July 3 over his recent criticism of Israeli policies, the Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed on Tuesday morning.
Report informs via Israeli media that the meeting will be held with Aliza Ben Nun, the Head of the Strategic Affairs Directorate, and follows recent exchanges on the matter between Tel Aviv and Kyiv.
Ukraine's embassy in Israel earlier charged the country with cooperating with Russia politically and economically.
The embassy urged Israel to change its position and support Ukraine by supplying it with defense means.
